**Sites involved in the action

The Basses Vallées Angevines, Moyenne Vallée de la Charente and Moyenne Vallée de l’Oise

**Objective

Identifying the plots to be purchased in order to achieve the planned surface areas (30 ha of natural grasslands in the Moyenne vallée de la Charente and Basses Vallées Angevines).

**Description

A land acquisition strategy is needed to identify all owners, land is being particularly fragmented in planned sectors for land purchasing. The effort will be focused on the plots between those already bought to create larger homogeneous blocks.
For each SPA that is:
• SPA "Basses Vallées Angevines": 250 ha to explore for purchasing 25 ha ;
• SPA " Moyenne Vallée de la Charente, Seugne et Coran ": 850 ha to explore for purchasing 5 hectares.

**Location

In the Basses Vallées Angevines, the study will focus on areas with high presence of the Corncrake. The plots which comply with the homogeneity of all previously purchased parcels will also be sought.

In the Moyenne Vallée de la Charente, the work will be carried out on the most important areas, identified through recent surveys: upstream and downstream of the city of Saintes, between Saint Savinien and Courcoury.
