Invitation at final seminar of LIFE+ Nature programme in Saintes.
19 June 2015, by Thomas ChevalierThe LIFE+ Nature programme dedicated to the Corncrake preservation is scheduled to complete in December 2015. A final seminar will therefore take place the 8th and 9th of September to take stock of these four years of actions.

Nocturnal monitorings for Corncrake breeding in Picardie.
12 June 2015, by Thomas ChevalierNocturnal monitorings of Corncrake males singer’s will begin soon in Picardie as well. These surveys will take place between week 22 and 23 on the usual breeding sites and the 18th and 19th of June on the others favourable sites.

Corncrake monitorings in Anjou.
12 June 2015, by Thomas ChevalierMonitorings will start soon also in the Basses Vallées Angevines, most important bastion for Corncrake breeding in France.
There’s no fixed date, monitorings will take place between 1st of May and the 15th of June, which represent 32 nights of survey (2 at each of the 16 sites).
Volunteers are essentials for the good achievement of these monitorings. So, everyone’s goodwill are (...) -
Beginning of nocturnal monitorings in Moyenne Vallée de la Charente.
11 June 2015, by Thomas ChevalierFirst Corncrakes are back in France, after spending several months in South-East of Africa. Thus, monitorings of male singers will start soon in Moyenne Vallée de la Charente. The first nocturnal monitoring is scheduled on 12th of May and the second one is scheduled on the 3rd of June.

Vallée de l’Oise : A second seminar about Corncrake

The seminar has gathered around forty persons in 2014 in Moyenne Vallée de l’Oise.
Stakeholders of the LIFE programm (CEN Picardie, LPO Anjou, LPO France) but also other structures involved in the Corncrake conservation in France and Europe (Great-Britain, Latvia).
This new meeting allow us to share results of the two first years of the programm. Especially about exchanges with agricultural sector, which demonstrate interdependence between conservation of hay (...)
